Best Care Maternity

Maternity care is extended by many of hospitals. Added to this mid wives specialize in extending the best care. Mid wives are considered to be specialists in taking care of women having babies. They provide services to those pregnant women who do not face any complications during maternity period. They especially trained to take care of babies and women may fix up for appointment with the doctor only in case of problems and complications. Mostly women are free from complications during pregnancies and they prefer to be under the care of mid wives. Nurses are different from mid wives. It is a profession where complete training is required.

In some hospitals both community midwives and hospital mid wives extend maternity care. Some mid wives work along with hospitals and offer help in running antenatal clinics. They also help women in giving birth to babies and take care of the postnatal wards. They work along with doctors and gain experience in this field. As they work closely with doctors the constantly monitor the patients and epidurals are used for relief of pain. Evaluation is required and proper maternity care should be chosen.

Community midwives do not render services in the hospitals nor do they work with doctors. Normally they are attached with hospitals and extend antenatal care or visit women by going to their homes. Mostly they assist and accompany women to hospitals during labor. They visit the women and the new born baby up to 28 days. If home birth is registered through the organization of NHS small team of community mid wives will take care during and after the delivery.

Antenatal appointments will be usually fixed up in the local clinic or it may be even at home. As the pregnant women are in constant touch with the mid wives there will no discontinuation in care taking of the mother or the baby. The Apollo hospitals have aimed at setting boutique birthing center which would provide cradle and birthing facilities to the pregnant women. The cradle would be specialized in such a way to give extra care and comfort to the babies. This revolutionary change has to be popularized and highlighted which is yet to be implemented.
