			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Okay, you&#8217;re reading this piece because you&#8217;re about to go on a diet and want to make a success of it or you&#8217;re already on a diet that&#8217;s hit a snafu and you want to turn it around. Whatever the case may be, if you follow these tips, you can be rest assured that your diet is sure to succeed.</p>
<p>First things first, we&#8217;re assuming that your &#8220;extra body&#8221; is not due to a medical condition &#8211; if it is, you&#8217;d be better off consulting a doctor. In fact, it is a good idea to get medical advice before going on a diet. We&#8217;re also hoping you&#8217;re not chomping on a 5-lb king-sized-burger and sipping on a cola (at least while reading this article).</p>

<p>Tips to take your diet to a fitting finale:</p>
<p>1. Make a diet plan. Instead of wasting your time reading blogs or watching idiotic personal movies on sites such as YouTube.com, sit down and write a detailed plan about foods that are good for you, foods that agree with your body and foods that you enjoy the most. Get to know their calories and eliminate the foods that have high calorific content.</p>
<p>2. Reinforce your mind with steel. Know why you eat and hammer it in your head that you eat to survive, not to party. Ingrain, absorb and chew on this thought &#8211; it will help you become stronger mentally and help you avoid all kinds of junk and &#8220;just one more&#8221; foods.</p>
<p>3. Do not touch fat foods or drinks: For example, Mayonnaise has enough calories to fill even your saliva with fat &#8211; avoid it. Avoid alcohol; Avoid junk food; Avoid carbonated beverages &#8211; even the &#8220;diet&#8221; variety because they are loaded with sugar. Read food labels carefully and don&#8217;t buy anything with a lot of fat content. Avoid extra sugar and sweets intake &#8211; remember, even sugar-substitutes, such as honey, are fat givers. Avoid restaurant food &#8211; it&#8217;s rich, sauced, creamy and waiting to inject fat cells into you.</p>
<p>4. Gather with a support group of dieters and diet along with them. Being in a group can help your diet cause.</p>
<p>5. Avoid frying your food &#8211; instead bake, broil or roast your food. Don&#8217;t forget to remove fat from your meat before baking, broiling or roasting it.</p>
<p>6. Eat less and eat more often. Break up your meals into small portions and have them 4-5 times a day (not 10-15 times). Schedule your eating times and remember not to eat just before going to bed because all that food you just ate will get converted to fat because sleep will make you inactive, thereby preventing the burning of fat.</p>
<p>7. Drink loads of water everyday, about 8 glasses daily. Water is like a flush system &#8211; the water pressure forces out the wastes in your body and keeps your internals in good, clean shape.</p>
<p>8. Chew your food slowly and eat it with leisure &#8211; never hurry through your meals and swallow food instead of chomping hard on it.</p>
<p>9. EXERCISE! You need to exercise &#8211; whether you&#8217;re on a diet or not, it&#8217;s that important. Exercise pumps up your metabolic rate and, in turn, your metabolism burns up your fat faster.</p>
<p>10. Never ever starve yourself while on a diet as starvation plays havoc with your body because your intestines keep secreting acids and there&#8217;s no food to absorb them, so the acids go back into the intestines and spoil its lining.</p>
<p>These were our top 10 tips on making your diet a huge success. Follow them and show patience and perseverance because you&#8217;re not going to lose weight overnight &#8211; it&#8217;s going to take at least a few weeks for the first signs of fat-loss to show up. Almost all diets tell us we can&#8217;t have this or that and these are very often some of our most favorite foods, along with this, portion sizes are very limited and often a lot smaller than we are used to or like and this leaves us feeling constantly hungry and out of sorts with the whole world including ourselves and our diet. If you know this feeling all too well then here are some tips on how to lose weight without ever feeling hungry.</p>
<p>The number one tip for losing weight without getting those hunger pangs knowing away throughout the day and which will leave you feeling more satisfied and full is water. Everyone should drink around eight glasses of water per day to themselves and their bodies in tip top shape but water can also be used to fill you up. Very often, we mistake the feeling of hunger for the feeling of thirst, our body tricks us into believing we need food when sometimes we are just thirsty and a large glass of water is all that is needed to dissipate those hunger pangs. So make sure that throughout the day you drink plenty of fresh water and around a half hour before you are going to be having a meal, drink a large glass of water or two.</p>
<p>Exercising if you feel hunger pangs might not make them go away entirely but it will take you mind off them and they wont be so noticeable, along with this you will be getting some much needed exercise which will help you to shed off those extra pounds and will also help you to sleep better at night.</p>
<p>Chewing gum can help to ease those hunger pangs; it will make you think you are eating something and psychologically it will do you good. When using gum in this way go for the sugar free variety or you will be making many extra trips to the dentist with rotten teeth, there are many different form of gum including mint and fruit flavors so choose you favorite and chew away to keep those hunger pangs at bay.</p>
<p>If you simply cant ignore the rumbling and feign off the hunger pangs and you find that you must snack then at the very least snack healthily. Remember all foods do contain calories even fruit and vegetables, which means that you can&#8217;t eat them freely whenever the need strikes. However if you need to nibble then try a few carrot sticks or a stick of celery or fresh fruit but don&#8217;t get carries away and if you are jotting down calories remember to include them and not cheat by leaving them off your daily tally.</p>
<p>At the beginning of your diet when you are first changing your habits hunger can strike, however this is sometimes just out of habit and your mind telling you haven&#8217;t eaten as much as you used to, when this happens wait around a half hour to see if the hunger dissipates before nibbling.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many diets and each of them claim to be the best and of course the easiest way to lose weight, so how do you know which out of all the diets is going to be the best for you and will it work? Here we take a look at two of the most popular fad diets, The South Beach Diet and The Macrobiotic diet and take a look at the pros and cons associated with both of them.</p>
<p>The South Beach diet is said to a spinoff of the Atkins diet and it does start out very similar to the Atkins. This diet begins with a two-week initiation phase that severely restricts the amount of carbohydrates that you can have in your diet,</p>
<p>The whole point behind this theory is that you will lose around 13 pounds during this time, which is an excellent start to your diet and which will get you motivated. Following this initial period the diet then moves on to the second stage where you are encouraged to keep an eye on the carbs while introducing what are known as &#8220;good carbs&#8221; back into the diet.</p>
<p>The good carbs are determined by the glycemic index, this means how high the blood sugar levels rise after eating carbohydrates. Bad products are considered to be white rice, potatoes, pasta and products which contain flour such as bread, all these foods are no-no`s on this diet. Although there has been much evidence that saturated fats are bad for the body the South Beach diet doesn&#8217;t put any credence on this fact and in fact maintains that providing you stay away from the bad carbs you can have saturated fats in the diet.</p>
<p>The bad points to the South Beach diet is the fact that it allows saturated fats and that the diet promises a dramatic weight loss of 13 pounds during this first two weeks when in fact many experts believe that you should try to achieve a weight loss of no more than 2 pounds a week.</p>
<p>The Macrobiotic diet seems to stem back for thousands and years and is more than just a diet, it is also a lifestyle and since many successful diets claim that you have to change your lifestyle in order to maintain the weight loss maybe that&#8217;s not such a bad idea. The whole idea behind the diet is that it is based on a well balanced diet that includes wholesome foods that goes towards promoting good health and longevity.</p>
<p>Wholesome foods that are central to the macrobiotic diet include brown rice, whole grain cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables and beans, seeds and nuts. General guidelines for the diet are to include around 50% of  food that is made up of whole cereals, 25% vegetables and the rest taken from a mixture of  beans, soups and fruits.</p>
<p>Other factors that play an important role in this diet include the age of the person, the climate in which they live, the overall condition of their health and the level of their activity. The diet has a very simple approach to the foods that can and cannot be eaten, however the philosophy behind the diet such as taking the environment and weather into account could be its downfall.</p>

<p>What is cellulite?</p>

You can recognize cellulite by the appearance it gives these areas: dimples, dips and ripples. In addition, the skin around those areas takes up the &#8220;orange peel&#8221; or &#8220;cottage cheese&#8221; texture, which is rather not very pleasing to the eye. You can also feel the little lumps of fat when you squeeze the skin on the upper part of the thigh. Cellulite is a combination of fat, fluids and toxins accumulated with age, but unrelated to weight. <p>What causes it?</p>
<p>Science has not yet uncovered the specific cause for the presence of cellulite. Generally, whatever causes accumulation of fat in the body is also a cause for cellulite. That is, eating fat-rich foods and leading a life without adequate physical exercise could be the main reasons. Some attribute it to genetic or hereditary factors. Cellulite appears to occur more after pregnancy or as a side effect of birth control pills or because of lack of proper blood circulation.</p>
<p>How to get rid of it</p>
<p>Moreover, there is no specific cure that works hundred percent for getting rid of it. Whatever you do to get rid of your cottage cheese thighs, understand clearly that you cannot be hundred percent successful in your attempts. Cellulite is there to stay.</p>

<p>Eat right, with your diet consisting of few processed foods, many fresh foods, low in calories and high in fiber and nutrients. Drink lots of water, at least 8 to 10 glasses of water, which cleanses your system and flushes the toxins from it. Avoid alcohol, and even soft drinks like soda and lemonade, In fact avoid all fat-producing, weight-increasing foods and drinks.</p>
<p>Be physically active. Suitable exercise has to complement a good weight-reducing diet. Aerobics and special exercises for the thighs and the bottom are useful.</p>
<p>Take advice from your professional physical trainer and health care provider, who will be able to suggest a suitable exercise and diet regimen, tailored to your specific individual needs.</p>

<p>Proper breathing and good health are inter-related. Normally, children breathe well, with their abdomen. As they grow up and become adults, they lose or give up effective breathing due to their wrong body postures or due to stress, tension, or depression. Most people unknowingly get used to shallow breathing, which does not involve the abdomen. They do not fully utilize the potential of their lungs. They use only the upper and the middle portion of the lungs. That is, they use mainly the chest, but not the entire volume of the lungs during shallow breathing, which is not the most effective way to breathe for good health.</p>
<p>Breathing correctly ensures maintenance of good health. To breathe naturally and correctly for health and fitness, you must replace chest breathing with diaphragmatic and belly breathing. In superficial or shallow breathing, the diaphragm moves very little, because of which the supply of oxygen to the vital organs like the brain and the several other cells in the body remains insufficient. This is the root cause of poor health. And when you talk of an evening out with your friends, eating out makes an inevitable part of it. But you are worried about falling prey to temptation and your diet plan going bust, because when dining out it is quite easy to overeat &#8211; all those excess calories coming from high-fat, high-salt and high-sugar unhealthy foods.</p>
<p>So what do you do? Skip the fun of an evening out with friends and sulk at home? Or go out and ruin your diet plan that you have been diligently following for the past few weeks? Well, you don&#8217;t have to do any of these. Not only can you go out and have a blast with your friends, you can even enjoy a good meal without sabotaging your diet plan if you follow these basic tips about eating out:</p>
<p>*  First of all, make a rough plan in advance about your choices of foods. This way you wouldn&#8217;t be confronted with the problem of deciding what to order when the waiter hands over the menu to you.</p>
<p>*  Never skip your meals in the afternoon simply because you are eating out in the evening. That way you would end up consuming more calories in the night, when your calorie requirement is actually low. All excess calories would end up being stored as body fat. They are not going to compensate for having skipped the afternoon meal or be used for your next day&#8217;s requirement.</p>
<p>*  In fact, have a proper lunch so that in the evening, you won&#8217;t pounce on and devour whatever comes to the table. To put your appetite further under control, carry a piece of your favorite fruit and a handful of nuts to nibble on while on the way to the restaurant. You may even eat a small bowl of salad some half an hour before leaving for the restaurant.</p>
<p>*  Now, while at the restaurant, go for an &#8216;a la carte&#8217; menu instead of eat-as-much-as-you-can buffets. Choose dishes with extra portions of vegetables and order small portions or split portions with friends. Be confident and don&#8217;t feel shy about requesting special low-fat preparations. The chef will be more than happy to help you.</p>
<p>*  Start your meal with a glass of plain water. Since you are on a diet plan, you must already be aware of the kinds of foods to shun completely, namely, the deep-fried foods, creamy, buttery and sugary stuff, regular colas and sodas, etc. Ask instead for lower-fat steamed, grilled, roasted, broiled or flame-cooked items. Or maybe you can even order another appetizer as the main course itself. For drinks stick to diet colas or fresh fruit/vegetable juice without added sugar. One often forgets to count alcohol calories as part the food. Alcohol is very high in calories and can prevent you from making healthy food choices.</p>
<p>*  Try to sit away from the breadbasket and the chips bowl. It is really easy to keep on munching on these (especially, breadsticks with butter) while chatting with your friends without even realizing that you are.</p>
<p>*  Be careful about the dressings that come with salads. They can defeat the whole purpose of your diet control. One ladle of a creamy salad dressing can give you about 300 calories. Ask for the dressing on the side rather than on the salad.</p>
<p>Remember that it is these little things that that can go a long way in not letting your diet plan go bust when eating out with friends who aren&#8217;t dieting. But don&#8217;t worry, even if you succumbed to temptation or cajoling from your friends and let yourself go while eating, it&#8217;s okay to break the dieting rules once in a while. Perhaps you can spend some extra time in the gym the next day or take a biking tour the next time when you plan an outing with your friends.</p>

The important thing to remember is that you want to help raise your heart rate, preferably for at least 30 minutes three times per week. This will help strengthen your heart and raise your metabolism &#8211; both benefits you will enjoy during and after your aerobic activity.</p>
<p>The important thing to remember when taking on any form of exercise which is intended for weight loss, that you take it easy and build up. There are two reasons for this, the first it gives your body time to adjust to the new way of life and allows the fitness level to build up and also allows the body to work at a higher level while still burning off that essential fat. Trying to do too much to quickly will lead to burnout and worse yet &#8211; injury.</p>
