Doctors don’t recommend Lexapro to those patients who have suicidal thoughts. The patients who are pregnant or intend to become while they are under medical care are not suppose to take Lexapro. The women who are breastfeeding the child are also not allowed to take Lexapro because this drug is egested into the breast milk and can affect the child.
