There are many rules and regulations that govern maternity and paternity benefits. Flexible working hours is allowed only to parents whose children are less than six years of age. Flexible working hours imply changing of arrival and departure time of the parents. Paternity leave seems to be joke factor but it has widely acknowledged for many reasons. Employee is entitled to paternity leave when the baby is below the age of five years and during certain period of leave they are not paid. Paternity leave is extended up to a period of six months. Some families feel paternity leave is as important as maternity leave as fathers also have a role to be played after the birth of the baby.
